These "Terms of Service" regulate your usage of the Remoteli website and mobile application, including any services, functionality, and content offered on or through the site, located at www.remoteli.co.za.
Before using the Site, please carefully review these Terms of Service. By opening an account, accessing the Site, or clicking to accept or agree to the Terms of Service (if offered), you are accepting and agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Service and the Remoteli Payment Terms, which are available here and incorporated by reference. You also acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy, which is available here. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service or the Privacy Policy, you may not access or use the Site. For more information about Site policies and usage, please refer to the designated pages on the Site.
The Site is intended for use by individuals who are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts. Users who are under the age of 18 but over 13 years old may use the Site only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian who has created an account for them. Users under 13 years old are not allowed to use the Site or any Remoteli services. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. If you do not meet these requirements, you should not use the Site.

Terms
Sellers refer to individuals who provide services through Gigs or the Logo Maker on Remoteli.
Buyers refer to individuals who purchase services on Remoteli.
Packages allow Sellers to offer their services in various formats and prices. These Packages may include upgrades that enable Sellers to set any service price.
Extras refer to additional services that a Seller can offer on top of their Gig for an extra cost decided by the Seller.
Orders represent the formal agreements between a Buyer and Seller once a purchase has been made through the Seller's Gig Page.
Custom Offers refer to unique proposals that Sellers can create specifically for the requirements of a Buyer.
Custom Orders are requests initiated by Buyers to receive a Custom Offer from a Seller.
Gig/Gigs are services that are available for purchase on Remoteli.
Gig Page is the place where the Seller can explain their Gig's terms and conditions, and the Buyer can purchase the Gig and create an order.
Overview
- Registration on Remoteli is free, but only registered users can buy and sell on the platform. When creating an account, users must provide accurate and up-to-date information and must not create fraudulent accounts.
- Gigs on Remoteli can have a base starting price of R50, but some may cost more as determined by the seller.
- Buyers pay in advance through Remoteli to create an order, which can be done through the Order button on a seller's Gig page or through a Custom Offer.
- Sellers are responsible for fulfilling their orders and must not cancel them without reason, as it may affect their reputation and status.
- Sellers can earn account statuses (Levels) based on their performance and reputation, which can provide benefits such as offering services for higher prices through Gig Extras or selling their Gig in multiples.
- Payments must be made through Remoteli, and users cannot offer or accept payments using any other method.
- When purchasing a Gig, buyers receive all rights to the delivered work unless otherwise specified by the seller on their Gig page. Commercial Use Licenses may require additional payment through Gig Extras.
- Remoteli retains the right to use published delivered works and Logo Designs for marketing and promotion purposes.
- Remoteli has a Privacy Policy that users can review.
- Users must comply with Remoteli's policies, which are a set of rules and guidelines that apply to the Remoteli community and marketplace in addition to the Terms of Service.
Sellers
Overview
- Sellers use Remoteli to create Gigs that allow buyers to purchase their services, and they can also offer Custom Offers.
- For each successfully completed Gig, sellers earn 80% of the purchase amount, which is credited to their account by Remoteli. Orders are considered completed according to the definition provided in the "Orders" section.

- Sellers are prohibited from promoting their Gigs or Remoteli content through the Google Ads platform.
- The Seller's rating is based on reviews from buyers, and high ratings can lead to advanced seller levels. However, exceptionally low ratings may result in account suspension.
- To prevent fraudulent or illicit activity, Remoteli may temporarily disable a seller's ability to withdraw revenue due to security issues, improper behavior, or associating multiple Remoteli accounts with a single withdrawal provider.

Gig
- A gig is content generated by the user and may be removed for violations of Terms of Service, including but not limited to illegal or fraudulent services, copyright or trademark infringement, adult content, spam, low quality, reselling regulated goods, and promoting prohibited activities.

- Poor performing or violative content may be removed from the search feature.

Levels
Remoteli is dedicated to assisting skilled individuals in maximizing their potential. Our goal is to equip high-performing individuals with the necessary resources to expand their business. Sellers who dedicate effort into promoting themselves are likely to experience greater client satisfaction. Additionally, those who consistently deliver timely and high-quality work, while maintaining positive ratings, may be eligible for new statuses, exclusive opportunities, and levels.
These levels are:
- Level A
- Level B
- Level C
Level A is the highest level that a seller can attain based on the number of quality services delivered.
Buyers
Overview
- Offering direct payments to Sellers using payment systems outside of the Remoteli platform is not allowed.
- Remoteli reserves the right to use all publicly published delivered works for Remoteli marketing and promotional purposes.
- Buyers can use the Project feature to request specific services, but the requested services must be allowed on Remoteli. The Project feature should only be used for looking for services on Remoteli, and not for any other purpose.
Purchasing
- Buyers have the option to request a Custom Order tailored to their specific requirements and receive a customized offer from Sellers on the Remoteli platform.
- It is strictly prohibited to offer Sellers payment outside of the Remoteli platform. Buyers should only make payments through the remoteli.co.za site. If any alternative payment method is suggested, it should be reported to the Remoteli Support team immediately.
Orders
Overview
- Upon confirmation of payment, an order will be created and assigned a unique order number.
- Sellers must use the Deliver work button to submit completed files and/or proof of work according to the service purchased and advertised on their gig
- An Order is marked as complete after it is marked as delivered and accepted by the Buyer. If no request for modification was submitted and the Order marked as delivered, the order will be automatically marked as complete.
- Buyers and Sellers are encouraged to settle conflicts amongst themselves. If this fails, users can contact support department for assistance.
Reviews
Overview
- Reviews provided by Buyers during an Order are a crucial part of Remoteli's rating system.
- Buyers are encouraged to inform Sellers about any concerns they may have regarding the service provided during an active order.
- Feedback reviews will only be removed if they clearly violate Remoteli's Terms of Service.
- All feedback reviews must come from legitimate sales within Remoteli's Community, and buying to boost Seller ratings or abusing the platform with purchases from additional accounts will result in a permanent suspension of all related accounts.
- Buyer's feedback comments are publicly displayed on a Seller's profile page.
- It is prohibited to withhold the delivery of services, files, or information required to complete the service with the intent of gaining favorable reviews or additional services.
- Users can leave reviews on Orders after they are marked as complete. However, no new reviews may be added after the review has been submitted.
- Sellers are not allowed to solicit the removal of feedback reviews from their Buyers through mutual cancellations.
Cancellations
- Buyers and Sellers are encouraged to settle conflicts amongst themselves. If this fails, users can contact support department for assistance.
Violations
If a user violates our Terms of Service, or if our support team receives reports of user misconduct, the user's account may receive a warning. The warning will be sent to the user's email and displayed on the site. While warnings do not limit account activity, they can result in the loss of Seller statuses or permanent account disability, depending on the severity of the violation.
Prohibited usage
- Adult Services & Pornography - The exchange of adult-oriented or pornographic materials and services is strictly prohibited on Remoteli.
- Inappropriate Behavior & Language - Communication on Remoteli must be respectful, constructive, and professional. We do not tolerate bullying, harassment, or hate speech on our platform. Our users can interact through our messaging system, rate orders, and follow our Social Media pages.
- Phishing and Spam - We prioritize our members' security and prohibit any attempts to publish or send malicious content that could compromise another member's account or computer environment. Please refrain from contacting our members with offers, questions, suggestions, or any unrelated content.
- Privacy & Identity - It is not allowed to publish or post other people's private and confidential information on Remoteli. Sellers must not use any information received from the Buyer, which is not publicly available, for any other purpose than delivering the work to the Buyer. Any users who communicate outside of Remoteli will not be protected by our Terms of Service.
- Authentic Remoteli Profile - Creating a fake identity, misrepresenting your identity, creating a profile for someone else, or attempting to use another user's account or information is not allowed on Remoteli. Your profile information, including your description, skills, location, etc., must be accurate and complete. Remoteli may require users to go through a verification process (such as using ID, phone, or camera) to use the Site.
- Intellectual Property Claims - Remoteli will take action upon receiving clear and complete notices of alleged copyright or trademark infringement or violation of a third party's terms of service. Our procedures for handling Intellectual Property claims can be found here.
- Fraud / Unlawful Use - Remoteli may not be used for any illegal activities or unlawful purposes.
